This Engine was built by Keith Craft Performance Engines. They did a wonderful job and the engine is very smooth and runs like a dream! Not many FE blocks, especially 496 ones, can idle easily at 700 RPMs. Now the car is so fast... Too fast... Is there such a thing as too fast?... Perhaps... The final numbers on this engine build were 615.3 HP and 576.5 Torque @
5700 RPM (Get a higher torque at lower RPM). Updated Picture of the Engine Compartment: Here is the 302 out of the car beside the FE Aluminum Block 427 Bored out to a 496

Whenever I let my car sit for a month or more, I was always worried about the oil draining away from the cylinder walls, etc. What I used to do was pull the distributor and run the oil pump with a drill to build the oil pressure up before putting the distributor back on. To fix this problem, I installed a 3 Quart ACCUSUMP made by Canton Racing Products. What the ACCUSUMP does is keep oil pressure inside the crankcase at all times which pre-lubricates the engine components before engine startup and also provides more continuous oiling while the engine is running. Here are some pictures of the installation (nicely tucked behind the front valence):
